Have you got trouble leveling in LOTRO when you can not play at prime-times and can't find groups? If so, I suggest you don’t worry, because you are not the only one. And just follow me, and then I'll tell you how to do it yourself. Here are a few basic tips on LOTRO solo leveling to improve your solo performance.

First of all, choose the right traits. There are loads of Virtue traits you can get, but you should only be interested in the ones that are meant for solo killing, such as Compassion, Determination, Discipline, Empathy, Loyalty, and Innocence. Those are the traits I used and as you can see, each of them adds to a characters overall efficiency. You should also only use Class Traits that make your damage styles better, single target ones, you don't need Area of Effect when you solo.

Secondly, use the right equipment. You should concentrate on the stats your class needs, don't overdue the Vitality stat though, vitality offers little morale amount but helps with morale regency. You should only use items that give the Will stat if you are a caster or healer. No matter what class you are, you should have Might. A little tip would be to focus on damage, only exception would be the Guardian, they are terrible on damage so just focus on blocking and that.

Thirdly, be effective while questing. Try and always be at least 2 levels above the level of the quests. When accepting fellowship quests, read the objectives, some just send you to collect some plants or whatever around some elite or signature mobs, you should do those as they give loads of XP and can be done if you navigate yourself successfully around the elites or signatures.

Last but not the least, do a little grinding. Your are better off grinding 10 minutes and you will get more XP than a fellowship quest will give you after trying to complete it, which will take over 30 minutes the minimum.
